Big Rapids, MI – The Big Rapids Regional Chamber is proud to recognize the Mecosta County Visitors Bureau as a featured Investor Spotlight and celebrate the organization’s continued commitment to strengthening tourism, regional collaboration, and economic vitality throughout Mecosta County.
The Mecosta County Visitors Bureau plays an important role in promoting the region as a destination to live, work, and explore while supporting local businesses, community development, and long-term economic growth across the county.
Over the past year, the organization has focused intentionally on strengthening relationships and fostering greater regional inclusion. “I’m most proud of is the work we’ve done to rebuild relationships and trust across the region,” shared Executive Director Jennifer Faris-Jones. “Early on, we recognized that our organization didn’t always feel inclusive of the entire area we represent. Since then, we’ve been very intentional about being present, listening, and doing better.”
“Our work isn’t always flashy, but it’s critical, and we’re making a real difference,” Faris-Jones shared. “I’m excited about the direction we’re heading and the stronger sense of collaboration we’re building across the region, when communities feel represented and included, it opens the door for real growth.”
The Visitors Bureau also shared its vision for continued organizational growth and expanded impact across the region. As tourism continues to evolve as a driver of local economic development, the organization remains focused on creating opportunities that benefit the entire region.
The Big Rapids Regional Chamber is grateful for the Mecosta County Visitors Bureau’s partnership, leadership, and ongoing investment in creating a stronger, more connected regional economy. We are proud to celebrate their impact and look forward to continued collaboration that supports businesses, residents, and visitors throughout Mecosta County.
